Auf der Maur/Von Bondies Tour, 2004
Nashville:
Day off. We are the Von der Bowlers! We got to visit an old bowling alley where Hank Williams once bowled. Marcie got 4 strikes in a row, and I was the worst of them all. I am really good at billiards however, so I applied that type of technique to my bowling; on my knees and push the ball, on the floor, aiming at eye level......looked silly made 'em giggle, but poor bowler just the same!

Atlanta:
We played at the Cotton Club, in the basement of the Tabernacle church turn music venue. The crowd was really passionate (the passion increases as you head south!) and it was a great show. We saw our fave Atlanta show go-er, lover of sound and seeker of passion; Eugene! That is him in the front row wearing the Interpol shirt. Thanks Queen Gene and buddies for coming out and making us smile!

St. Petes, FL:
The State Theatre sure has seen a lot of loud rock fun, it rugged and worn in the most glorious of ways. The weather was so beautiful and beach so inviting that we went before and after the show!

Steve and I hung out by a fountain, and I got sprayed by it soon after Steve left. We did some nature studies too, I found a special piece of grass that looked and worked like a zipper and Steve found a mini toad. We jumped in a van and went to the beach late at night. Steve and Marcie swam while the rest of us drank some beer and talked to the half moon hovering above the warm water. Florida is great! Thick salty air and a beach at every turn.
